Description of Updates:

STRIKER SPRING

Nucleus actions shipped January 2019 and earlier have a 16-lb or 19-lb striker spring. If you experience light strikes we have 25 lb springs available. Note that the bolt lift will be heavier with a 25-lb spring.

BOLT HEAD

Some triggers along with part tolerance stack up cause the bolt to hang up or "bump" significantly when closing. An updated bolt head design with an increased chamfer on the back corner of the bolt head lugs is available. Please note that the "bump" will not be eliminated and in many cases does not change.

RECALL : WRENCH FOR NUCLEUS RECEIVER

DO NOT USE WRENCHES DELIVERED BEFORE APRIL 2019.
American Rifle Company has decided to recall all receiver wrenches sold for use with the Nucleus bolt action and John Hancock rifles. The reason for the recall is that improper use of the wrench can damage the receiver. The damage does NOT cause a safety issue, but it does prevent insertion of the bolt assembly into the receiver.
